Here is is... finally... the drops jacket. Completed. no great pics, sorry and also, it appears to be a little large.... but anyway...

Progress

Well,

With much neglect of my man, thesis, parrots, dogs and friends, I am finally getting somewhere with the drops jacket....

I was very unrealistically trying to finish it for wednesday morning.... as you can see, halfway through a sleeve on thursday means I didnt make it.

drops and smudges

Well, our temporary little addition has taken quite a shine to cuddling up to my knitting when she can't cuddle up to me. As i was knitting the back piece of the drops jacket, i realised the wool was getting tight, it wasnt slipping easily from the ball. Why not??.... well, lo and behold.... its a smudge on my yarn.

Oh and this is the back piece of the jacket.

Well, my parcels were (literally) everything I wanted.

Not only that, but more goodness today when my patchwork interiors book arrived!




I cant wait to get started on it all. I have a fair few things in mind.

Now these little things....
......Are now fully equipped to run round the house, transporting a hungry mouth and a leaky tap. Another week and we will have to hand her over I think.

There's a surprise coming up soon.... for the little few who read this. Maybe next week, depends how things go.

this is the first bit of knitting I have managed to get done all week.... hindered by one little thing...



She's still so little she needs bottle-fed.

On the other hand, the knitting is going to be a handbag. And today, it seems, I have 4 parcels to pick up...... My list in order of preference as to what I hope they are ; fabric from japan, wool, fabric from US, patches

Pup...and stuff

Well, we managed to get rid of most of the pups..... we are keeping one for someone else... or should I say raising her for somone else.

Little Smudge. She's gorgeous. Wish we could keep her but in this tiny place, its just not possible.
